Performance  

             On 26-08-2005 around 0130 hours Subedar Ranadhir Das of 4fth Bn TSR , ASI L.M. Darlong of Fatikroy OP and 4th TSR Bn personnel ex-Santirbazar Post conducted raid and search in the house of Mintu Debnath (21) S/O Late Nripendra Debnath at Radhanagar, Nath Para (about 15 Km North west from Kumarghat PS). During search police recovered two country made guns ,two country made pistolsm, one wooden butt of country made gun, 5 wooden butts of country made pistols, one Pistol Pouch, one O/G colour long pant, one search light, one Hashco Blade and some pieces of 1 inch and 1 ½ inches GI Pipe and other gun manufacturing instruments from the house O/C Kumarghat PS registered a case. Mintu Debnath was arrested and the guns and other articles were seized.

            On 09-06-2005 early morning O/C manikpur PS with 3rd BN TSR personnel arrested Bishuram Tripura (28), an NLFT(BM) extremist S/O Late Guna Mani Tripura of Jatindra Roaja para, Dhumacherra from Kacharicherra (about 18 KM South, east from PS). He is being interrogated.

           On 22-03-2005 night acting on a secret information Kanchanpur PS staff conducted raid and search at, Laxmipur, Machmara and Kina Charan Talukdar para (about 29 km north-west from PS) and arrested 4 Miscreants namely (1) Mihir Ranjan Chakma (19), S/O Sri Singhanath Chakma of Laxmipur, Kanchanpur PS (2) Swapan Chakma (28) @ Sakuni, S/O Sri Prafullya Chakma (3) Rabiron Chakma (30), S/O Sri Santi Mohan Chakma. (4) Gulu Chakma (19), S/O Santi Mohan Chakma all of Kina Charan Talukdar para, Pecharthal PS. During search the following arms and incriminating articles were recovered from their possession. (1) Countrymade Gun- 2, (2) Toy pistol- 1, (3) Pithu- 1, (4) Black Jacket- 1, (5) A/R Dress- 1(Pair). Some Gun powder and cycle balls etc. All the 4 persons were involved in the incident of firing upon an Auto rickshow on 1.3.05 around 2030 hrs on Kanchanpur-Laljury road, causing injury to one Sukriti Rani Paul and firing upon a motor Bike on Kanchanpur-Laljury road at Gopalpur on 17.03.05, causing grievous to one Pranoy Debnath.

               On 21-03-2005 around 1415 hrs a joint team of East Agartala PS staff and custom officers seized one scooter bearing No. TRM-5197 which was parked at Santipara (about ½ km south-West from PS). During search an amount of 1, 81,000/- Bangladeshi Taka and Rs-11,000/- of Indian currency were recovered from the toolbox of said scooter. The amount was seized and handed over to custom authority for further legal action.

                On 24-01-2005 afternoon 11 AR personnel ex-Ganki camp in course of special operations deatined 3 persons namely (1) Pradesh Debbarma(22), a listed ATTF extremist, S/O late Kartik Debbarma, (2) Hiran Debbarma (26), an ATTF collaborator, S/O Sri jatindra Debbarma and (3) Sarajit Debbarma(29) an ATTF collaborator, S/o late Kartik Debbarma from Sepahi hower (about 9 km south east from PS). During search some ATTF letter pads were recovered from their possessions.

                On 21-01-2005 night D/68 BN CRPF personnel in course of special operations apprehended Sanjib DeBarma(19), an ATTF collaborator, S/O Sri Padma Debbarma from his house at kairai (about 10 KM north east from PS) in connection with encounter between 7th BN TSR personnel and ATTF extremeists at Champabari on 31.10.04.

                On 21-01-2005 acting on secret information, 11 AR personnel conducted special operation at Batabari / Labangacherra (about 15 KM east from PS) and detained five NLFT(BM) collaborators namely (1) Surja Ram Reang (48) S/O Sri Nakul Deb Reang of Batabari PS taidu (2) Kalaram Reang (26) S/O Lt Rambabu Reang of Dhaniraipara of PS Ompi (3) Billuram Reang (22), S/O Sri Pandiram Reang of Betabari PS Taidu, (4) Uraham Reang (4) S/O Sri Nakuldeb Reang of Labangacherra PS Ompi and (5) Bhanu Ram Reang (19) S/O Sri Uraham Reang of Labangacherra PS Ompi and also recovered 4 Cpountry made guns about 25 grms gun powder, one empty catridge of 0.303 and some iron balls from their position. A specific case wa registered against them on the complaint of Sub Ajit Raj Dugra of 11 BN AR.
