Today on 08-10-2015,Ld.Asstt. Session Judge, Gomati Tripura, Udaipur. has convicted 01 (One) accused person namely Rajesh Tripura (29) S/o Sri Lalit busan Tripura of Keshab Chandra Para PS Karbook under Gomati District,U/S- 456 IPC for 02 (Two) years rigorous imprisonment and also sentence to pay a fine of Rs-1000/-(One thousand) i.d to suffer R.I for 03 (Three) Months more U/S 456 IPC for the commission of lurking house trespass by night.
Gist of the case is that on 26.10.2014, Karbook PS Case No. 10/2014 U/S- 457/354/376/511/506 IPC, was registered on the compliant of one Miss. Saral Mala Tripura (21) D/O Lt. Krishna kanta Tripura of Krishna Kanta Para, PS Natunbazer, under Gomati District against the accused Rajesh Tripura and anther Jagat Manik Tripura for outrage of modesty upon the complainant on 26.10.2014 at about 0300 hrs at Karbook Chandra Shing Para, in the tenant house of one Sri Dhananjoy Reang under Karbook PS. After investigation, charge sheet was filed by SI Biraj Debbarma, on 30-10-14, against the accused persons namely(1) Rajesh Tripura (29) S/o Sri Lalit busan Tripura of Keshab Chandra Para PS KBK (2) Jagat Manik Tripura (22) S/o Sri Mukta chowdhury Tripura of lookchand Para PS KBK under Gomati District; vide C/S No.08/14U/S-457/354(B)/376/511/34IPC.
On 07-10-2015 Ld. Sessions Judge Belonia, South Tripura convicted accused Md. Badsha Miah (26) S/O Lt. Khoka Miah of Amjadnagar, P.S-BLN for the offence punishable U/S 489(B) /489(C) IPC & sentenced to suffer R.I for 05 years & also to pay a fine of Rs.5000/- only, in default of payment of fine he shall suffer further S.I for another 06(six) months for the offence punishable U/S 489(B) of IPC & again the convict Badsha Miah is sentenced to suffer R.I for 02 years & also to pay a fine of Rs.3000/- only, in default of payment of fine he shall suffer S.I for 03(three) months for the offence punishable U/S 489(C) IPC.
The case was registered on 20-12-2012 at 2050 hrs. on the basis of written complaint lodged by Sri Gouranga Bhatta (54) S/O Lt. Manindra Bhatta of SBC Nagar P.S-BLN against the above noted convicted accused person for the commission offence punishable U/S 489(B)/489(C) IPC.
This ref. BLN P.S Case No. 245/12 dated 20-12-2012 U/S 489(B)/489(C) IPC (ST.58 (ST/B) 13). Gist of the case is that on 20-12-2012 he was arrested while Rs.5000/- Indian fake currency was recovered from his possession from Belonia town. After completion of investigation Inspr. Shura Kr. Debbarma O/o the S.P (CID) TPA, AGT., I.O of the case submitted C/S vide No. 17/13 dated: 8-03-15 U/S 489(B)/489(C) IPC against the above noted convicted accused person in the Court of Ld. Sessions Judge Belonia, South Tripura for facing trial.
On 17th August, 2015, day time, in a Government Quarters of Kunjaban Township, Shyamali Bazaar, Shanta Saha( Age- 49 years), W/O- Shri Dipak Saha was found murdered in their official Quarter. This refers to NCC PS Case No 53/2015 U/S 302 IPC. For sustained investigation the case was transferred to CID on 7th September, 2015. After due investigation CID teams arrested 1) Dipjoy Saha @ Suman (Age 32 years) and 2) Bitanjoy Saha @ Sagar (Age 22 years) S/O- Dipak Saha of Kunjaban Quarter Complex, 3) Krishna Dey (Age 41 yrs) of Sarada Palli, 79 Tilla, PS- NCC and 4) Ranabir Lodh (Age 43 yrs) of Nandan Nagar, SDO Chowmuhani, PS- NCC, in the interest of expediting investigation.
DT.05-10-15. Imprisonment for torture by husband.
Today on 05.10.2015 one Mithun Nath (30) S/O Shri Babu Lal Nath of Shuknacheera PS-KCP is sentenced to undergo imprisonment for 01 (One) year with a fine of Rs. 10,000/-.by Ld. SDJM Kanchanpur in c/w KCP PS case No. 111/13 U/S 498(A) IPC/ Sec 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act 1961.
On 12/12/2013 the complainant Smt.Barnali Nath wife of Shri Mithun Nath of Vill- Suknacherra PS-Kanchanpur lodged complain at Kanchanpur PS against her husband for continue tortured by her husband on the issue of dowry demand. On this above case was registered at Kanchanpur PS. I/O SI Roliana of Kachanpur PS collected evidences and based on evidence arrested the accused Shri Mithun Nath and submitted charge sheet against him on 27/02/2014 in the court of Ld. SDJM Kanchanpur.
Based on available evidences, Ld. SDJM Kanchanpur Shri Mothom Debbarma sentenced accused Shri Mithun Nath to suffer 01 (One) year imprisonment with a fine of Rs. 10,000/(Ten Thousands).
DT.02-10-15. Murder under Birganj PS.
On 30-09-2015 any time, after 1800 hours, Surjya Mohan Das (70), S/O lt. Nilkanta Das, of West Malbassa Colony, PS-Birganj went to grass field near the Gomati river for bringing cattles. At about 2000 hours, finding that Surjya Mohan Das was not returning to his house Sanjoy Das son of Surjya Mohan Das went to the grass field near the Gomati river (about 8 Km South – East from PS) and searched for his father. After searching the area he found 2 lathies and a napkin and some blood stain in the grass field. He suspected that his uncle, namely Ramendra Ch. Das (60) killed his father Surjya Mohan Das with lathi and then threw the dead body in the Gomati river. On receipt of this information Birganj PS staff rushed to the spot and conducted searches for Surjya Mohan Das. Today on 02-10-2015 morning dead body of Surjya Mohan Das was recovered from the water of Gomati river at Dakmura under R.K.Pur PS. Accused Ramendra Ch. Das was arrested.
Recovery of phensidyle under Bishramganj and Panisagar PsS.
(1) On 01-10-2015 at about 1335 hours, acting on a secret information, Inspector Manindra Debanth, O.C Bishramganj PS conducted raid and search in the house of FIR named accused person Budhya Debbarma , S/O Lt. Kasam Debbarma at Padma Kumar Para, Goliraibari (about 12 Km East from PS). During search they recovered and seized 659 bottles phensidyle (100 ml each bottle) from that house which were illegally kept for sale. Accused Budhya Debbarma was found absconding.
(2) On 30-09-2015 at about 1900 hours, on the basis of secret information, Sri Satyadeo Kumar, Dy. Commandant, 159 Bn BSF, Panisagar and staff recovered and seized 30,000 bottles phensidyle (100 ml each bottle) from a Agartala bound truck from Churaibari side bearing registration No.JK-02-X-6941 side near Panisagar Post office on NH-44 (about ½ Km South from PS) which were illegally being carried in the truck. The driver of the truck namely Suresh Raj (45), S/O Sri Suren Chand of Jammu and Kashmir was arrested and the vehicle was seized.
